Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Examopedia collects when you browse the site, take an exam or create an account, how that information is used, and the choices you have over it.

Effective from 01 January 2026

01 Introduction

Examopedia is an online assessment platform operated by Henry Harvin Education. We provide practice tests, mock exams and certification assessments across a range of professional subjects.

We take the privacy of our learners seriously. This policy sets out what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to everyone who uses examopedia.com, whether or not you hold an account with us.

02 Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account details — your name, email address and the password you choose, which we store only in encrypted form.
  • Verification codes — one-time passwords sent to you when signing in or confirming your identity.
  • Exam activity — the exams you enrol in, when you start and submit each attempt, the answers you give, your scores and the certificates you earn.
  • Files you upload — where a question asks you to attach a document or image as your answer, that file is stored with your attempt.
  • Payment and wallet records — your wallet balance and a record of recharges and deductions for paid exams. Card and banking details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored on our servers.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and similar data collected automatically through cookies and analytics.

03 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • create and manage your account, and sign you in securely;
  • deliver exams, record your attempts, grade them and issue results;
  • generate and verify the certificates you earn;
  • process wallet recharges and payments for paid assessments;
  • send you service messages such as registration confirmations, results and exam-related notices;
  • understand how the site is used so that we can improve it; and
  • meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and prevent misuse of the platform.

04 How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Within Henry Harvin — Examopedia is operated by Henry Harvin Education, and course and enrolment information is shared with its systems so your learning records stay consistent.
  • Service providers — organisations that host our platform, deliver our email, process payments or provide analytics, acting on our instructions.
  • Employers or institutions — where you take an assessment arranged by an employer or institution, your result may be shared with them.
  • Legal requirements — where we are required to disclose information by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the integrity of our assessments.

05 Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords and restricted internal access to assessment records.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

06 How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your account and assessment records for as long as your account is active, so that your results and certificates remain available to you and can be verified by others.

If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep certain records for legal, accounting or certification-verification purposes.

07 Your Rights and Choices

You may at any time:

  • access the personal information we hold about you, and request a copy;
  • correct or update your account details;
  • ask us to delete your account and associated data;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on it, and opt out of marketing messages.

To exercise any of these, write to us using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

08 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and keep an exam attempt tied to your session. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may prevent parts of the platform, including exam sessions, from working correctly.

09 Third-Party Links

Our pages may link to other websites, including press coverage and partner sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.

10 Children’s Privacy

Examopedia is intended for learners and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the age at which consent is required in their country without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

11 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the platform or to the law. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page, and where the changes are significant we will let you know by email or an on-site notice.
